Reflection for Writing

Last week for writing we were writing explanations. We wrote about "How Rocket Shoes Work".
I worked with Karen and we wrote ours like an advertisement.

How Rocket Shoes Work

The shoes work with batteries, it has an airbag in the shoes and it makes the shoes fly in the air. When you pull the right shoe lace you will fly and when you pull the left shoe lace a parachute will come up and you will land safely on the ground. A laptop on the shoes guides you where you want to go.

The parts of the rocket shoes are fake fire so that nothing gets burnt in the sky, it includes batteries as well. Also includes shoes and laces of course, a parachute, an airbag and a laptop.

You're probably wondering how to use it, well I'll tell you. Well first you have to check that your batteries are fully charged. Then put your shoes on. After wards set your laptop to where you want to go. Next when you want to fly pull your right shoe lace, and you'll be flying. Then when you want to go back on the ground pull your left shoe lace. A parachute will make you land safely on the ground.

The rocket shoe works by batteries which will be fully charged. An airbag which makes you fly in the air, the shoe laces give control also the laptop guides you where you're going. Lastly a parachute so you land safely on the gground.

Buy yourself rocket shoes now. It will be a really fun, interesting adventure. So get off your couch so you can fly to new places.

Week 4 reflection

Last week we are learning about friction. Friction is a force that is stopping you from sliding.
There are four types of friction, sliding friction, static friction, rolling friction, fluid friction.

In Reading we did the difference from hail and snow. We also played a barrier game and we made our own barrier game and it was funny.

In writing we wrote an explanation on how snow or hail forms and I did hail.
We also are writing an explanation on how rocket shoes work.

Reflection for marble track


I made my marble track by...

First I collected all the materials I was gonna use, then I started making it. I first attached the tube to a stick, then I put the tube a slope and stuck it to a container. Then I twirled the tube around a stick and then stuck it to another container.

The materials I used were
- tubes/pipes
-containers
-pebbles

-water
-metal
The things I used to stick it together were
-masking tape
-hot glue

Reflection for week 2

This week in reading our WALT was to ask questions about the text when we read and our SC was when we ask diffrent types of questions.We made fishes with a simily and my one was at 3:00 my thoughts are like i'm on vacation. We also wrote a rap it goes like this

Listen up we got a whole lot of things if you don't wanna listen then give me a ring.
We got a coupla of klogs that we want to throttle, so give me your goggles so we can wobble.

In writing we wrote a explanation on how to play a game, my game was corner ball.
Our WALT was to write an explanation of a game using the features of explanation writing. Every day before morning tea we played one of the games.

How to play

Corner Ball =)

Corner Ball is a fun, contributing fit game. It has lots of team work in it. It is a bit like netball and rugby touch so it will be fun for every one.

This game needs about 15 to 30 people. There are two teams, you have a ball and at least one third of the court.

The rules are you cannot go out of the lines, you can’t step with the ball, you can’t tag some one with the ball really hard and you can’t hold the ball for more then three seconds.

The games starts when an adult throws the ball up in the air and some one catches the ball in one of the teams.

Then the game begins. The team with the ball passes the ball to their team members. To get the opposite team out you have to tag them with the ball by just touching them, then they have to sit outside the court.

The way they can get back in the game is when the other team gets the ball off the opposite team, another way is if the ball goes out side. The last team touching it doesn’t get the ball, the other team does.

The team that tags all of the other team wins.

Corner Ball is a fun running game. You should play with your friends. It will be fun.

Reflection of the holiday

In the holidays I stayed home most of the time, went shopping with friends and family and I also went to relatives houses for dinner. On Saturday I went to my cousins engagment we had a BBQ then after a little while the adults went to a bar to have drinks and dessert and to dance. On Sunday I went shopping with my aunty, cousin and big sister to by her dress for sweet sixteen.

My goals for term 4 are...
- To type fast
By doing keyboarding a lot.
-To move up to AM
By learning more strategies
-To manage myself
By listening to the teacher
-To concentrate on my work
By not getting distracted by class members
